Local budgets should be adopted by January 10, says vice premier
Local budgets should be adopted not later than on January 10, 2013, according to Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul.
"The deadline for the process is January 10, 2013," he said during an intercom meeting in Kyiv on Friday.
Vilkul also noted that local authorities need to reduce local budget spending in 2013 on the maintenance of government agencies and local administrations in the regions, and the funds to be thus released should be funneled into the settlement of local projects.
