An explosion ripped through one of the buildings of a medical university in Chernivtsi on Thursday.
Preliminary reports say a man, apparently the one who carried an explosive device, died and two others were wounded, according to the ZIK internet outlet.
Two people, a 42-year-old professor and an 18-year-old student, were hospitalized, the Molody Bukovynets newspaper reports.
The building has been cordoned off by police. Rescuers, investigators and gas service employees are working at the scene, ZIK writes.
