Kyiv council not to pass Kyiv's budget for 2013 by late 2012, says secretary
The budget of Kyiv for 2013 will not be passed by the end of this year, Secretary of Kyiv City Council Halyna Hereha has said.
"We've taken the budget for consideration, we've addressed the president, prime minister and parliament asking to revise the budget of Kyiv city. This year we won't approve it," she said at a briefing before the plenary session of Kyiv City Council on Tuesday.
She said that it is likely that the capital's budget for 2013 will be passed in the second half of January.
As reported, Kyiv City Council on December 20, 2012 accepted the budget for consideration with the revenues target of UAH 18 billion and the expense target of UAH 17.7 billion.
