Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed decree No. 726/2012 restoring the Industrial Policy Ministry.
"In accordance with Paragraph 15, Part 1, Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decree to reorganize the State Agency of Ukraine for the Management of State Corporate Rights and Property into the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine," reads the decree.
As reported, in accordance with a presidential decree of December 9, 2010 on the optimization of the system of central executive government agencies, the Industrial Policy Ministry was reorganized into the State Agency for the Management of State Corporate Rights and Property and finally ceased to exist late in 2011. The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Environment Ministry assumed a number of functions of the Industrial Policy Ministry.
