A total of 2,997 heating tents were operating in Ukraine as Saturday morning, with 333 of them set up by the Emergencies Ministry and 2,664 by local authorities, the press service of the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry has reported.
Nearly 3,000 people have visited the tents in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of bad weather, assistance has been provided to nearly 16,500 people. People most often asked for assistance in Crimea, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
