Foreign Ministry: No Ukrainians among those killed and injured from Cyclone Evan
There are no Ukrainian citizens among those killed and injured from Tropical Cyclone Evan, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, the cyclone, which hit Oceania, Samoa and Fiji on December 13-17, killed four people.
"Thousands of people in northwestern districts in Fiji and Samoa are in evacuation centers," the ministry said.
Storms and floods damaged private and municipal buildings, infrastructure, and power lines. According to meteorologists, Cyclone Evan could reach New Zealand's North Island on December 22-23.
