Government to meet on Friday, at about 1100, says PM's spokesperson

The Cabinet of Ministers will hold a meeting on December 14, Vitaliy Lukianenko, the spokesperson for Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"The Cabinet of Ministers will hold a meeting tomorrow at about 1100," he said.

Lukianenko noted that Azarov, in his opening remarks at the meeting, would set deadlines for the formation of the government and outline its plans for the future.

As reported, on Thursday, the Verkhovna Rada approved President Viktor Yanukovych's nomination of Azarov as Ukrainian prime minister.

The composition of the Cabinet of Ministers is appointed by the Ukrainian president, under a motion from the prime minister.
