Batkivschyna, Svoboda again block Verkhovna Rada rostrum and presidium

Batkivschyna and Svoboda deputies have again blocked the rostrum and presidium in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada.

Regions Party lawmakers failed to stop them, and the parliament's presidium and rostrum were surrounded by opposition deputies.

The meeting has not started again after the previously announced break.

As reported, 228 MPs voted for the decision that the Verkhovna Rada will work on Wednesday until it completes the consideration of all issues. On Wednesday, in particular, it is planned to appoint the Verkhovna Rada chairman and his deputies, as well as give consent to the appointment of the prime minister.

Regions Party MP Oleksandr Yefremov is presiding at the meeting.
