New Cabinet to be formed within 2-3 days if Azarov appointed as premier, says Blyzniuk
If Mykola Azarov is appointed the prime minister of Ukraine, the government will be formed within two or three days, MP and former Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Blyzniuk has said.
"Consultations on the membership of the government are in progress. First of all, a new premier has to be appointed and after that the government will be formed within two or three days, this is for sure," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Asked whether he would like to return to government, Blyzniuk said: "I am a member of the president's team. The premier will be appointed first and then a decision will be taken. If the say that I should become a minister, I will go there, and if not, then I will work in parliament."
As reported, the parliament is to vote on Azarov's candidacy for the new premiership at the evening sitting on Wednesday.
