Morning sitting of parliament closed, Rada leaders to be elected at evening sitting

A break has been announced in the parliament's sitting to give the factions of the political parties and deputy groups time for their final registration.

The chairman of the preparatory deputy group, Volodymyr Lytvyn, announced the break.

Lytvyn closed the morning sitting of the parliament and announced that the evening sitting will begin at 1600.

It is expected that at the evening sitting the creation of factions and deputy groups will be announced and a vote to elect the chairman and two deputy chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada will be held.
