Consultations on new government not being held yet, says Tigipko
The new membership of the government will be formed after the appointment of the prime minister, and consultations on the issue have not been held yet, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation, Sergiy Tigipko, has said.
"First they will elect the prime minister and after that, consultations with people and the president will take two or three days. After that the membership will be formed. No one has held consultations yet," Tigipko told Interfax-Ukraine in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Asked whether he would like to work at the government or at the parliament, Tigipko said that the team [the Regions Party] would decide on this.
As reported, on December 9, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych nominated Mykola Azarov for new premiership.
