Yanukovych to visit Russia by end of 2012, says source
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will make a visit to Russia by the end of 2012, a diplomat told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
"The Ukrainian president is planning to visit Moscow. The status of the visit is currently being determined," the source said.
The diplomat added that the date of the visit has not been scheduled yet.
"Earlier, the president of Ukraine said that he planned to make a state visit to Russia in late 2012," the source said.
The Kommersant-Ukraine publication reported on Monday referring to informed sources that Yanukovych will visit Moscow on December 17-18, 2012 to discuss Ukraine's possible participation in the eastern integration process.
