Foreign Ministry urges Ukrainians not to travel to some cities in Egypt
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has advised Ukrainian citizens not to travel to the Egyptian cities of Cairo, Alexandria, Asyut, Taba, Port Said, Suez and the North Sinai due to the deteriorating security situation in Egypt, the ministry's spokesperson, Oleksandr Dykusarov, has told Interfax-Ukraine.
In order to avoid threats to life and health, Ukrainian citizens, who are now in these places, or are planning to travel to Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Marsa Alam, El Gouna, Dahab or Nuweiba, are encouraged to stay within the hotel and refrain from non-organized trips to the cities.
"In case of emergencies, Ukrainian citizens should contact the Ukrainian Embassy in Egypt by phone +20-10-000-39-648, which works around the clock," Dykusarov said.
