Court sentences one murderer of Makar to life imprisonment, two others – to 14 and 15 years in prison, media
The Central Regional Court of Mykolaiv on Tuesday passed a sentence regarding a criminal case on the rape and murder of teenager Oksana Makar, the novosti-n online publication has reported.
The court sentenced Yevhen Krasnoschok to life imprisonment, Maksym Prysiazhniuk – to fifteen years in prison, and Artem Pohosian – to fourteen years in prison.
As reported, on March 10 the charred body of the girl was found on March 10 near the construction site in Mykolaiv. The three men had raped her and tried to burn alive.
Criminal cases were opened against Yevhen Krasnoschok, Maksym Prysiazhniuk, and Artem Pohosian, who were suspected of the murder of the girl.
Makar died at the Donetsk burns department on March 29.
