Diplomats help over 80 Ukrainians to leave Israel due to Gaza conflict
Ukrainian diplomats in Israel helped 83 of their compatriots to leave the conflict zone during the latest Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
"According to data from the office of Ukraine's Embassy in Israel at the Palestinian National Authority, according to the cease-fire agreement, the security situation in the Gaza sector has normalized. In general during the conflict Ukrainian diplomats rendered aid to 83 of their compatriots who wanted to leave the territory of the Gaza sector," Foreign Ministry's Spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said Ukrainian diplomats are in touch with Ukrainian citizens in this territory, and are taking measures to draw up all of the necessary documents needed for Ukrainians to leave this territory if the security situation worsens.
