Rada postpones implementation of law on civil service for one year
The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has postponed for a year the implementation of the law on civil service.
A total of 233 out of the 340 MPs registered in the session hall voted to amend the law on civil service on Tuesday.
The amendments stipulate that the law on civil service comes into force on January 1, 2014, instead of January 1, 2013, as was planned earlier.
