Azarov's premiership to depend on majority coalition in new Rada, says Regions Party faction leader
Head of the Party of Regions faction in Ukraine's parliament Oleksandr Yefremov said that whether current Prime Minister Mykola Azarov keeps his job will depend on the talks on formation of a majority coalition in new parliament.
"[Prime Minister Mykola Azarov's retaining his post] will depend on the outcome of the negotiations on the formation of majority in the next parliament," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Yefremov also said that all the ministers who were elected to parliament would accept their mandates of people's deputies.
"I know that all ministers are currently writing their resignation letters and are going to take the jobs of MPs," he said.
Under the current constitution, the prime minister is nominated by the president.
