Government dismisses heads of Pivdenna and Prydniprovska railways as they become MPs
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed Oleksandr Momot from the position of head of Prydniprovska Railways (Dnipropetrovsk) and Viktor Ostapchuk from the position of head of Pivdenna Railways (Kharkiv) due to their election as people's deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.
This is stipulated in government instructions Nos. 915-r and 914-r, dated November 19, 2012.
Momot had held his position since April 2010. He also worked as head of Prydniprovska Railways in 2001-2005.
Ostapchuk had held his position since 2005.
