Foreign Ministry urges Ukrainians not to travel to Israel, Gaza
Ukraine's Foreign Ministry has called on Ukrainians to refrain from travelling to Israel and the Gaza Strip due to the deteriorating security situation in the region.
The ministry asked Ukrainians to avoid visiting the cities of Tulkarem, Jenin, Nablus in the Palestinian territories, and not to visit the 75-km zone of the Gaza Strip, in particular, the cities of Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beer Sheva and the surrounding area, the Foreign Ministry's press service reported on Saturday.
The Foreign Ministry said that in case of emergency Ukrainian citizens should contact the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel by phone: 054 667 6782; 100 (police number); 101 (emergency number) as well Ukraine's diplomatic mission to the Palestinian National Authority by phone: +972 2 241 32 02, fax +972 2 241 3203, mobile phone: 595 089 089 972 (24 hours a day).
