Ukraine to take over OSCE chairmanship in Dublin in early December, says Foreign Ministry
Ireland will hand over the chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to Ukraine at the 19th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Dublin on December 6-7.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko will attend the event, the ministry's press service reported.
The OSCE Chairmanship is held for one calendar year by the OSCE participating state chosen by the Ministerial Council. Ukraine will chair the OSCE in 2013.
