Azarov: Government continuing to work on bill on higher education
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has decided to finalize a bill on higher education, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.
"It has been decided to recall bill No. 9655 from the Verkhovna Rada, and finalize a new bill that was presented at a government meeting," he wrote on his page on Facebook, while communicating with users on Friday.
He said that this bill was discussed at a cabinet meeting on November 5 with the participation of the rectors of higher educational institutions.
Deputy Prime Minister and Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko, as well as justice, economy and finance ministers, were ordered to finalize the bill.
