Medvedev glad Obama, not Romney will be U.S. president
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev welcomes the election victory of Barack Obama.
"Obama is an understandable and predictable partner," Medvedev told reporters. "Obama has been a quite successful president."
He said he was glad that Republican contestant Mitt Romney, known for his anti-Russia statement, had lost the election.
"I am glad that the man who calls Russia it's No. 1 foe will not be the president of this large and influential state. That is paranoid," the Russian prime minister said.
