Tiahnybok: CEC preparing resolution on impossibility of announcing election results in constituencies Nos. 11, 14
A member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) is preparing a draft resolution on the impossibility of announcing parliament election results in constituencies Nos. 11 and 14 in Vinnytsia region, Svoboda Party leader Oleh Tiahnybok has said.
"A representative of the Central Election Commission is now to introduce a draft resolution on the holding of repeat elections in constituencies Nos. 11 and 14, because it's impossible to determine credible election results," he told reporters after a meeting with CEC Chairman Volodymyr Shapoval on Monday.
As reported, the Central Election Commission, in its resolution adopted on Monday, recognized the impossibility of announcing parliament election results in five single-seat constituencies – Nos. 94, 132, 194, 197 and 223. In addition, the commission recognized the need to hold repeat elections in these constituencies and asked the parliament to take a decision on the holding of repeat elections in these constituencies.
