With 98.89% of vote counted in Rada election, situation virtually unchanged
With 98.89% of the party list ballots counted in Ukraine's parliamentary elections, the Regions Party of Ukraine took 30.11% of the vote, the Batkivschyna United Opposition 25.44%, the UDAR Party 13.91%, the Communist Party of Ukraine 13.22%, and the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union 10.41%, Ukraine's Central Election Commission has reported.
The October 28, 2012 election was conducted under a mixed system, with 225 MPs elected on a party list basis and 225 in single-seat constituencies. Parliamentary candidates run in single-seat constituencies either from parties or through self-nomination. The election threshold for parties on party lists in these elections is 5%.
