Shevchenko staying in politics, in Ukraine-Forward! Party

Footballer Andriy Shevchenko has said that he cares about Ukraine's future, so he is not going to leave politics and the team of the Ukraine - Forward! Party.

Shevchenko said that these parliamentary elections were his first step into big politics, the party's press service reported.

"I've traveled all over the country and talked with thousands of people, saw firsthand all the problems and difficulties that Ukrainians are facing every day. I want to thank all the voters for their trust, for their desire to share our initiatives to build new Ukraine. I care about the country's future. So, I'm staying in politics and in the Ukraine - Forward! team," he said.
