Ihor Kolomoisky elected president of United Jewish Community of Ukraine
Delegates to the seventh congress of the Jews of Ukraine on Tuesday elected Ihor Kolomoisky, a businessman and co-owner of PrivatBank, as president of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine, the press service of the Jewish community of Dnipropetrovsk has reported.
Three people participated in the election of the president of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine. Kolomoisky was elected president, as 264 of the 298 delegates attending the congress voted for him.
The congress was attended by representatives from 23 regions of Ukraine, Kyiv, Crimea, Sevastopol, as well as Ukrainian Jewish organizations.
