Regions Party ready to offer hand to yesterday's opponents, says Azarov

The Regions Party is ready to cooperate in parliament with all political forces that care about Ukraine, Ukrainian Prime Minister and Chairman of the Regions Party Mykola Azarov has said.

"Private and party ambitions do not exist for us. There are the state's interests, and for the sake of them the Regions Party is ready for cooperation with all constructive forces, for which the interests of the Ukrainian people are a priority," he said while opening a meeting of the Ukrainian government on Wednesday.

"Thus, we are offering our hand to our opponents of yesterday. But if they respond us with destructive populism and demagogy, we are ready to solve the problems of our country on our own," the premier said.

He said the economic crisis is the main enemy of democracy in the country, and all political forces should fight against this enemy.
