Symonenko suggests returning to proportional election system
The Communist Party of Ukraine (CPU) will propose that parliament to return to the proportional election system, CPU Leader Petro Symonenko has said.
"We will propose to return to the proportional system," Symonenko said at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
According to him, return from the mixed election system to the proportional one would "prevent there being a huge impact of capital" on election campaigns.
