With 89.18% of vote counted, Regions Party leads in 117 single-seat constituencies
With 89.18% of the ballots counted in Ukraine's parliamentary elections in single-seat constituencies, the Regions Party is leading the elections in 117 constituencies in 21 regions of 27, reads a posting on the Web site of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine (CEC).
In addition, the Batkivschyna United Opposition's 43 candidates, the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union's 10 candidates, the UDAR Party's five candidates, the People's Party's two candidates, and one from each the Soyuz Party and the Radical Party are leading the elections.
According to the CEC, independent candidates are leading the elections in 43 constituencies.
There are 225 majority constituencies at the parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
