UDAR afraid of possible irregularities in counting of votes at single-seat constituencies, ready to protest to protect election results
The head of the electoral headquarters of the UDAR Party, Vitaliy Kovalchuk, has said that the largest number of election irregularities in Ukraine could be reported during the counting of votes at singe-seat constituencies.
"I think that the largest number of violations will be recorded during the counting of votes at single-seat constituencies," he told reporters in Kyiv late on Sunday.
He also added: "I think we will complain, first and foremost, at the Central Election Commission, and, of course, we will file appeals in the courts."
Kovalchuk said that the party was most concerned about district No. 97 in Kyiv region, as well as districts Nos. 214 and 216 in Kyiv.
When asked whether the party is ready to hold street protests in support of the election results, he said: "We will use all means to protect the results and, if necessary, we will resort to public events."
