Rallies to take place on Mykhailivska and Sofiyska Squares, near CEC on October 28

The supporters of the Regions Party will on October 28 hold a rally on Mykhailivska Square, while the followers of the Batkivschyna United Opposition will hold a mass action on Sofiyska Square.

The applications to hold the rallies were submitted to Kyiv City State Administration at 1800 on October 25.

The Young Regions all-Ukrainian youth public organization submitted a request to hold festive events devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Regions Party on Mykhailivska Square from October 27 to November 5. The claimed number of participants is 7,000 people," the main department for interior policy and public liaisons of Kyiv City State Administration told Interfax-Ukraine.

From October 27 to November 5, the Professional all-Ukrainian youth public organization is to conduct festive events on Mykhailivska Square with 7,000 participants.

Moreover, on October 28, the We Are Ukrainians international public organization will hold a festive concert on the occasion of Ukraine's liberation from German occupation. According to the request, 10,000 people will take part in the event on Mykhailivska Square.

In turn, Batkivschyna United Opposition submitted an application to hold a rally on Sofiyska Square from 1000 on October 28 to 1800 on October 29. The claimed number of participants is 10,000.

The Batkivschyna Moloda national youth organization reported that it is to hold a mass rally near the premises of the Central Election Commission from 2000 on October 28, with 4,000 expected participants.

The League of the Slavic Youth All-Ukrainian youth public organization submitted an application to hold the similar action near the CEC from 2000 on October 28, with 4,000 expected participants.

The parliamentary elections will take place on October 28. The voting at the polling stations will start at 0800 and will finish at 2000.
