Election campaign costs candidates in majority constituencies UAH 5 m, says Regions Party
The parliamentary candidates in majority constituency spend around UAH 5 million on the election campaign, Regions Party has said.
"Today we can estimate average expenditures of candidates on the election campaign. I think a person that is holding an election campaign and fulfills all of his or her obligations to representatives in election commissions, observers, as well as organizes its coverage in the media has to spend around UAH 5 million," Chair of the Regions Party parliamentary faction Oleksandr Yefremov said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.
However, he did not specify whether he meant candidates from the Regions Party, or candidates in majority constituencies in general.
Yefremov also did not answer journalists' question regarding expenditures of the Regions Party on the election campaign.
He said that the issue could be discussed after the parliamentary elections.
