Makeyenko: Period of revolutions in Ukraine is over
Regions Party MP Volodymyr Makeyenko has said he believes that the period of revolutionary mood in Ukraine in the past.
"[Mass protests] are unrealistic not only in Kharkiv region, but also in the whole of Ukraine," he said in Kyiv on Wednesday, while commenting on the likelihood of mass protests after the parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
Makeyenko said that "all of these things that were heard in the early 1990s and in 2004 have passed into history."
