Bakhteyeva: obligatory medical insurance to be introduced in Ukraine in 2014
MP of the Regions Party faction and chairman of Verkhovna Rada healthcare committee Tetiana Bakhteyeva has said that an obligatory medical insurance will be introduced all over Ukraine in 2014.
As Bakhteyeva reported at the press conference at the official press center of the Regions Party on Tuesday, a separate extended sitting of Verkhovna Rada health committee was devoted to the topic of insurance medicine.
"There were about 100 participants. It's very important that the heads of the profile committees from Russia and Moldova, where insurance medicine has already been implemented, were present at the sitting," the MP said.
According to her, Ukraine could introduce obligatory medical insurance even in 2014.
"I insist on obligatory state medical insurance, as health is a valuable thing for everyone," the health committee head said.
