CEC registers 3,797 international observers for parliamentary elections
Around 3,800 international observers will monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
At a Monday meeting, the Central Election Commission (CEC) completed the registration of international observers.
On Monday, the CEC registered 666 observers. Thus a total of 3,797 observers representing 28 countries and 35 international organizations will monitor the elections.
"Today, we are finishing consideration of issues related to the registration of official observers from international organizations and foreign states," CEC Deputy Chair Zhanna Usenko-Chorna said.
The parliamentary elections in Ukraine will be held on October 28.
