Russian Central Election Commission officials to monitor Ukrainian parliamentary elections
A delegation from the Russian Central Election Commission, which will be part of the CIS observer mission, will monitor the parliamentary elections in Ukraine, and Russian Central Election Commission Chairman Vladimir Churov may pay a short-term visit to Kyiv, Russian Central Election Commission official Yelena Dubrovina said.
"I will work in Lviv and Kyiv. My colleague Oleg Lavrov, a member of the Central Election Commission, will go to Sevastopol. Our delegation is part of the CIS observer mission," Dubrovina, who coordinates the work of the Russian Central Elections Commission in the CIS observer mission, told Interfax on Monday.
The parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for Sunday, October 28.
