Kyiv hospitals should be better than average European ones, says premier
Ukrainian Prime Minister and leader of the Party of Regions Mykola Azarov has said Kyiv needs to create a modern healthcare system.
"We need to create a modern healthcare system in the capital city. Each Kyiv hospital should be a little bit better than an average European hospital," Azarov told reporters in Kyiv on Monday after examining the progress of the construction of a new modern building of the Okhmatdyt National Children's Hospital.
The prime minister also said that the modernization of the ambulance service needs to be completed in the capital city next year.
