Ukrainians, like Czechs, should support leftists, says Communist Party
Ukrainians, like Czechs, should support leftist parties in the parliamentary elections, Ukrainian Communist Party MP Ihor Alekseyev has said.
"The Czechs voted for the Communist Party and leftist forces of their country, because a large part of the residents, fed up with the amenities of capitalism, look back to the communist times, the order and high-quality products that were made in our country and not only in it," the party's press service quoted him as saying.
Alekseyev said that last weekend leftist political parties won parliamentary and regional elections in several countries in Central Europe (Lithuania and Montenegro).
"In addition, the leftists are in power in France, Greece, Portugal, and not only in these countries. There is a serious trend indicating that parties that are really responsible for ineffective and anti-people reforms are losing," he added.
