ECHR opens case on Tymoshenko's complaint about violation of her right to fair trial, says Vlasenko
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has opened a case on former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko's complaint about politically-motivated violation of her right to fair trial, the ex-premier's defense lawyer, Serhiy Vlasenko, has said.
"The ECHR has opened a case on the complaint under Articles 6, 18 of the European Convention on Human Rights on October 15. The case been opened," he said at a press briefing in Kharkiv on Thursday.
