Russian foreign minister to visit Kyiv on October 19, says source
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Kyiv on October 19, a diplomat has told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the source, Lavrov will make a working visit to Kyiv to discuss the upcoming visit of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to Moscow.
"During the visit to Kyiv, the Russian foreign minister will discuss the agenda of Yanukovych's visit to Moscow," the diplomat said.
As reported, Yanukovych will make a visit to Moscow on October 22. The president is expected to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
