Tymoshenko's private meetings with visitors contribute to her recovery, says German doctor
Former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko's meetings with visitors at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv do not cause additional stress to the patient, but on the contrary contribute to her recovery, Chief of German Charite Clinic Karl Max Einhaupl has said.
"If you want to know whether visits to Tymoshenko could cause additional stress to her, I would answer no to this question. I should say that private meetings with the patient on the contrary help improve the results of her treatment," Einhaupl told journalists at the hospital on October 14.
According to the doctor, the stress caused to the patient and that negatively influences the results of her treatment is partially connected with fears of new charges that might be brought against her.
"First of all, the stresses are connected with the fact that the patient constantly fears being involved in new trials and that new charges might be brought against her. Stress is also caused by regular reports in the media about the patient," the doctor said.
