Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has signed a decree dismissing the Georgian government, a statement posted on the Georgian presidential website in the early hours of Thursday reads.
"The Georgian presidential decree granted a motion of the Georgian government to resign. The decree orders that it will perform its duties before the new government is appointed. The new government will be presented to the new parliament in terms defined by the Constitution," the statement reads.
