Ukraine, EU still deciding on date of summit, says Foreign Ministry
The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has said that Ukraine and the European Union are choosing the date for holding a summit this year.
"According to the principle of rotation, the next Ukraine-EU Summit will take place in Brussels. Today we together with the EU are working on the technical level to select a date for this summit meeting, which will be attended by the Ukrainian president, as well as the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He noted that traditionally the Ukraine-EU Summit is held at the end of year to sum up the results of cooperation and outline future priority tasks.
