Several hundred U.S. observers will arrive in Ukraine soon to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections.
"A big group of U.S. observers is planning to come to Ukraine to monitor the elections," Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States Oleksandr Motsyk said at a press conference on Wednesday.
He added that the United States wanted to see fair and transparent elections in Ukraine.
The parliamentary elections will be held in Ukraine on October 28, 2012.
