President gives awards to 10,000 mothers who have had multiple children, according to decree

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed decrees on assigning 10,000 mothers with multiple children the title of Heroine Mother, the presidential press service reported on Monday.

More than 35,000 mothers who have given birth to and brought up until eight years old five or more children, including adopted children, have received the honorary title since the beginning of 2012.
