Ukrainian president commemorates victims of Babyn Yar
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has honored the victims of the massacres in Babyn Yar and laid flowers at the monument at the Babyn Yar National Historical and Memorial Reserve in Kyiv.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian president, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysiazhniuk, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kliuyev, officials, priests, and representatives of the clergy and the community attended the ceremony.
The participants in the ceremony honored Babyn Yar victims with a minute of silence.
