Azarov vows to provide Ukrainian companies with state order for modern medical equipment in 2013
The government will make a state order in 2013 for domestic producers of modern medicine equipment for healthcare establishments, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.
"We will make a big state order in 2013 to replace medical equipment. We have started concluding government contracts with domestic companies, and we'll keep doing this," he told journalists following a visit to the Science, Innovations, Technologies 2012 international forum in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Azarov added that he was told at the forum that 3,500 samples of various types of equipment were exhibited there, and most of them were used in the sphere of medicine. He also said that Ukrainian manufacturers could produce such equipment.
