President again calls on all political forces to participate in work of Constitutional Assembly

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has again called on all political forces and civil society organizations in the country to participate in the work of the Constitutional Assembly in order to prepare a new wording of the Constitution of Ukraine.

"I am calling on all political and public forces to forget about the current political situation and participate in the work of the assembly," he said at an Independence Day ceremony in Kyiv on Friday.

Yanukovych said that the Constitutional Assembly would ensure a high level of professionalism and transparency in the preparation of a new constitution.
