Emergency electricity outages imposed in several regions - Ukrenergo
Emergency power outages have been imposed in several regions of Ukraine, National Power Company (NPC) Ukrenergo said on Wednesday.
"The reason for the tightening of restrictive measures is the consequences of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities," the system operator noted.
The power outage schedules previously announced on the morning of December 24 in the regions where emergency power outages were imposed are currently not in effect.
According to Ukrenergo, the emergency power outages will be canceled after the situation in the power system stabilizes.
As reported, Russia has continued to attack energy infrastructure at night, resulting in new power outages in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions as of the morning of December 24.
