Russia attacks Chernihiv region dozens of times, targets energy infrastructure – official

Some settlements in the Chernihiv region were left without power supply due to shelling Russia on Wednesday, Chernihiv Regional Military Administration head Vyacheslav Chaus has said.

"On the eve of Christmas Eve, the Russians attacked Chernihiv and 26 other settlements in the region. They again hit the energy and civilian infrastructure. 69 shells - 161 explosions," Chaus wrote in Telegram on Wednesday morning.

At the same time, there are no reports of casualties from the attacks.
